Jodi R. Maspaitella received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from California State University at Chico, California in 1995. She followed with her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling and School Counseling from St. Mary’s College of California in 2000.
In addition to her education, Jodi has over 12 years of experience working with children and families in private and non-profit agency settings. She specifically has worked with children and families affected by foster placement, emotional disturbances, drug and alcohol use and adoption.
Additionally, she has conducted various trainings for Solano County foster parents. She, in partnership with her husband, are both foster and adoptive parents with an established reputation for transforming children with multiple behavior problems including Asperger’s Syndrome, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and other impulse control disorders. Together, they have reunified four foster children and their biological families within the past two years. Jodi also has expansive knowledge of attachment disorders and adoption issues, as she is also an adoptee.
