Jodi has an amazing talent for pinpointing exactly what is going on with our children and giving us the tools we need to deal with each situation. It is so great to learn the proper techniques to use to help our children through each phase of their childhood. Before Jodi came to dinner Westley, our two-year-old boy, would throw his food across the room, not eat what was served (especially if it was green), yell, and get down from the table. This was so discouraging to me because I worked so hard to make dinner only to sit down to chaos. Later we would feed him something else he demanded because he was hungry and we wanted him to eat enough to sleep through the night. Thanks to a few simple tools from Jodi we now have a very active two year old boy who will sit through family dinner, eat (even the green stuff) and say “may I please be excused” (more like “may peas be scuzed”) when he is done.
Jodi has taught us to guide our children with kindness and consistency. She has pointed out things we were doing that we had no idea we were doing to contribute to the problem. She has helped us in dealing with our five-year-old daughter’s talking back, emotions and super attitude. It is amazing to see how much easier life can be with just a few changes to the way you react to your children. I could go on and on about the issues she has helped us resolve but I would have to write a book to list them all.
My children love and understand Jodi because she talks on their level. Jodi is my secret weapon when it comes to parenting. I know that no matter what problem I am having with my children she is always just a phone call away. I would never try to invest my money without my financial advisor, I would never try and do my taxes without my accountant, and most of all I would never try and parent without Jodi.
Thank you Jodi for all you do for our family, I owe my yelling free days, peaceful family dinners and my sleep full nights to you! Every parent needs Jodi! (I guess I am willing to share my secret weapon)
